Thank you to everyone who stopped by Novi’s booth at the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC) in July! The second year of URTeC in Denver saw record-breaking attendance, clearly signaling the growing importance and hunger in the oil & gas industry to bring geoscience and engineering together under one roof to discuss the technical trends that are sustaining the shale revolution.
Novi brought thought leadership and our latest AI well planning innovation to the event.

On Wednesday, Novi’s founder and president Jon Ludwig joined other industry thought leaders in a panel discussion on titled “Next Technology Frontier in Unconventionals: What’s Needed Versus What’s in Development” where he provided his perspective on driving unconventional development costs down while enhancing well performance through leveraging machine learning driven well optimization software.
The energy at URTeC was tremendous with exhibition space for URTeC 2020 in Austin sold out the last day of the show in Denver.
