Permian Delaware Q3 2026 Basin Report
The Delaware Basin continues to hold substantial development runway even as its most mature formations show signs of depletion. Novi’s Q3 2026 inventory assessment models approximately 1.06 billion remaining base-case lateral feet, or ~119,000 locations, representing roughly 32 years of inventory at the 2025 drilling cadence. Including higher-uncertainty emerging inventory increases the total to approximately 1.52 billion feet, while stricter risking based on economics and nearby in-zone development still leaves approximately 22 years of remaining runway. The report examines how that inventory is distributed across formations and operators as the Delaware matures. *Please note that this report is only available for Novi Intelligence subscribers.
